Balmoral Show 2006

The kings hall show-grounds opened its gates once again for another highly successful Balmoral show, which took place from May 10th -12 2006.
The show enjoyed 3 days of glorious sunshine, bar a brief rain fall on Friday morning which still didn’t keep the crowds away!
As usual visitors were able to view at first hand the cream of Ulster’s horses, ponies, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, eggs, rabbits and cattle.

Top Irish and GB riders were attracted by the prestigious Show Jumping schedule. GB number one Nick Skelton and top Irish riders including Conor Swail and Edward Little were among the riders who took part in the International Classes. The grand finale to the Show Jumping schedule is the Vodafone Grand Prix, where Paul Barker and Blue Chip Quinton walked away with the prestigious Grand Prix title.
