Having won the accolade of “Best Event in Ireland 2005” at the Eventing Ireland Media Awards, the Ballygraffan International horse trials on the 28th and 29th of April had a lot to live up to.  However the 2006 event more than lived up to expectations with two days of very high quality competition.
The challenging courses (designed from scratch by Hugh Lochore and built by the Willis Bros) proved a hit with participants and spectators alike, as the course provides a stern challenge for the competitors and excellent viewing opportunities for spectators in the scenic surroundings of the Strangford conservation area.

2006 saw the introduction of a new trade stand area at the show and allbed were there to support the event, which is now considered one of the highlights of the eventing calendar.  After such a successful event Ballygraffan is sure to be in the running for the “best event in Ireland” title again in the 2006 media awards!

allbed, are dedicated to supporting all areas of equine sport from grass roots level up, and eventing is no exception which is why allbed are now title sponsors of the Novice Class at all Northern region eventing One-Day fixtures for 2006.
With one day events taking place right through the spring and summer until September we would encourage you to come along to enjoy one of the events near you, and be sure to catch all the action in the allbed Novice class at the shows!
